Two OBA Commitments

It's been a busy week for the Orlando Baseball Academy with very exciting news.  2020 catcher Frankie Delgado committed to Carson Newman University and 2019 3B Sam Spicuzza committed to Mars Hill University.

 

Frankie is a junior at Lake Mary Prep, under the direction of head coach Jon Krot.  Frankie was the varsity catcher as a sophomore and we are exciting that he will be back in our program this summner.  Carson Newman is a Division 2 program that plays in the South Atlantic Conference.  Carson Newman is in Jefferson City Tennessee.  Carson Newman is under the direction of catching guru Tom Griffin.  We are very proud of Frankie and happy for his family on his decision to be a Carson Newman Eagle in 2021.  We are excited to follow Frankie's career over the next 6 years and beyond!

 

While corner infielder Sam Spicuzza from Hagerty High School under the direction of head coach Matt Cleveland committed to Mars Hill University, also a member of the South Atlantic Conference in Division 2 baseball.  Mars Hill is located in Mars Hill North Carolina and is under the direction of head coach Aaron Rembert.  We are very proud of Sam and happy for his family on his decision to be a Mars Hill Lion.  We are very excited to follow Sam's career over the next 5 years and beyond!
