Michael Taylor is a current member of the Oakland Athletics 40 man roster.  He has spent parts of the last three seasons in the Major Leagues with the A's.  Where he hit his first Major League home run in 2011 for the A's off of Texas Rangers left handed pitcher Derek Holland.  Michael was a 5th round draft choice out of Stanford in June of 2007 by the Philadelphia Phillies.  In 2009 Michael was the Phillies Minor League Player of the Year.

 

 

 

Before being drafted by the Phillies, Michael attended Apopka High School were he lead his 2003 team to the state championship game.  He was ranked the #1 high school prospect in the nation by Team One and #8 prospect in the nation by Baseball America.  After Apopka High School he attended Stanford University where he was a 2007 All Pac 10 selection.  He hit 21 home runs, drove in 126 runs, scored 80, had 45 doubles and played in 140 of 143 games in his Stanford career.

 

 

 

We will have several other professional players instructing at the camp, as well as several college players helping to instruct as well.  This session will run from 9am - 12 noon.  We will only have 60 campers in a session, so register early.  There will be stations with instructors helping to improve your swing with many different drills.  Some you may have used before and some that may be new to you.  When you leave this camp and continue to use the drills you learn over these two days, you will see a significant improvement in your swing.
