2011 MLB Draft

Dante Bichette Jr. from Orangewood Christian School was selected by the New York Yankees with their supplemental  
at the end of the first round with the 51st selection overall.  Dante has signed and been assigned to the New York Yankees Gulf Coast Rookie team in Tampa Florida.

 

2010 MLB Draft                      

 

Justin Nicolino from University High School was drafted with the final pick in the 2nd round (80th overall selection) by the Toronto Blue Jays in the MLB 2010 free agent draft.  Justin signed on August 11th with the Blue Jays and has reported to the Gulf Coast League team of the Blue Jays organization.

 

Sean Dwyer from Tavares High School was drafted the 15th round by the San Diego Padres in the MLB 2010 free agent draft.  Sean is committed to attend Florida Gulf Coast University if he does not sign by the start of school in August.

 

Derrick Shaw from Florida A & M was rafted in the 41st round of the MLB 2010 free agent draft.

 

 

 

2009 MLB Draft

Shane Greene from East Ridge High School was drafted in the 15th round by the New York Yankees in July 2009, during the MLB free agent draft.  Shane has signed with the New York Yankees and began his minor league career with the Yankees Gulf Coast League team in Tampa Florida.

Steven Ewing from University High School was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in July 2009, during the MLB free agent draft.
